I want to open an individual/company account. How can I do that?
Simply pass by any Creditbank branch and sign the required account opening documents. You will be requested to provide specific documents based on the type of account that you choose to open.

How can I get an official account statement?
You can request an official account statement through Creditbank Online Banking, the Mobile App or simply by visiting any of our branches.
You can always check your account statement using the Creditbank Online Banking or Mobile App anytime, anywhere.

What is an IBAN and why do I need it?
The IBAN is an International Bank Account Number required for the customer to execute all kinds of transfers, inward and outward, though local or international banks. You can access your IBAN through Creditbank Online Banking and Mobile App or by visiting any of our branches.

I need to apply for a loan. How can I know which type of loan to apply to and the process?
Our Customer Relationship Officers are more than happy to assist you in deciding the loan type that best suits your needs. Below are some of the ways to apply for a loan:
● Visit any of Creditbank branches where a Customer Relationship Officer will assist you in filling any loan application
● Apply online and fill in the relevant application form. Once submitted, your application will be processed immediately and one of our Customer Relationship Officers will contact you
● Contact directly our Customer Support at 01-517088 or 70-600707. Our trained professionals will take you through the features and benefits of our loans programs and will immediately forward your request for processing

I’m interested in joining Creditbank’s team. What’s the process?
You can fill in the online form in the “Careers” page on the Creditbank website and upload your resume there. Our Human Resources department will contact you when your profile matches a job vacancy at Creditbank.

What are the opening hours of Creditbank branches?
Creditbank branches open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM till 1:00 PM. Our counters close at 12:30 PM.

How can I enroll in Creditbank Online Banking?
It’s very easy! All you have to do is visit any of our branches where you can fill out and sign the “Electronic Banking Services” contract and receive your online Username & Password, or you simply access the Creditbank Online Banking website or Mobile Application and apply online; you can then collect your Username & Password from any Creditbank branch at a later stage.

How can I log in to Creditbank Online Banking website?
Visit Creditbank Online Banking website on https://ebanking.creditbank.com.lb; enter your Username, Password, Customer ID, and OTP in their respective areas. The OTP will require a one-time setup which takes approximately 1-2 minutes to be completed. You have the option to receive your OTP through SMS or it can be generated by Creditbank’s Mobile Application.
For security reasons, you will be asked to change all your security credentials at the first login.

How frequently is my online bank account information updated?
Besides your credit card accounts, your account balances are updated instantly.

How much does Creditbank Online Banking cost?
Creditbank Online Banking service is offered for free which allows you to access your accounts from any device 24/7.

What services can I benefit from using Creditbank Online Banking?
Creditbank Online Banking allows you to enjoy an array of services while resting assured that your information is handled with the utmost security measures. Some of these services include:
● Accessing your accounts anytime
● Transferring money within your accounts
● Transferring money to other Creditbank clients
● Managing your Websurfer Internet Cards: reloading your card instantly, checking the balance, viewing your transaction history and editing your details

What types of accounts I can check using Creditbank Online Banking?
With Creditbank Online Banking, you can access your Saving, Current, Term, Loans, checks and Credit Cards accounts.

Can I download my account statement or request an official hard copy through Creditbank Online Banking?
With Creditbank Online Banking, you can generate your statement of account with the option of printing the statement or exporting it to Excel or PDF for free.
If you wish to request an official statement of account (signed and stamped), all you have to do is click on “Paper statement request”, choose the account then select the Branch of Delivery and the Date Range of the statement. For this service, you will be charged the regular statement fee.

What can I do if I forget my password?
In case you forget your password, you have two options:
● Click on "Forgot your Password?" on the Creditbank Online Banking homepage. A message will be displayed on your screen referring to a link sent to your registered email to set a new password
● Call our Customer Support on 01-517088 or 70-600707 who will be able to assist you

Is there a limit for the online transfers that I can make to other beneficiaries?
The daily limit is USD 10,000 or its equivalent in LBP. If either of the limits is reached, the transfer order will be automatically declined.

Can I change my username and password?
• You can pass by your branch to change your username
• For changing your login password, click on “Change Login Password” under “My profile” section
• For changing your transfer password, click on “Change Transfer Password” under “Transfers” section

How secure is Creditbank Online Banking?
The security embedded in Creditbank Online Banking predicts and denies all possible illegal attempts and it is audited, fine-tuned and corrected periodically in order to keep the system properly protected. Any data interception is blocked.
Some of the security features: SSL Encryption, Secure authentication (Username, Password, Customer ID and One-Time Password on every login attempt), Virtual Keyboard, First-Use Password, Login History, Password Policy, Password Expiration, Auto-Locking, Session Time-Out, Input Validation, Database Authentication … etc.

Why is it important to have an OTP (One-Time-Password)?
An OTP provides an extra layer of security to our online banking. In case your username and password were compromised, the person will still be unable to access your account without your mobile phone.

What can I do if my phone gets stolen?
Immediately notify our Customer Support on 01-517088 or 70-600707 and they will walk you through the necessary steps.

What happens if I change my mobile device?
In the event that you change your mobile device, reinstall the Creditbank Mobile Application, log in to the Creditbank Online Banking website, go to “Edit OTP Settings” and then select “Move to different phone”. Or contact your branch and ask our representatives to unsubscribe your number from OTP. An OTP setup will be required for the new device in both cases.

If I chose to receive my OTP by SMS at setup, will I be able to change it at a later stage?
You may switch to having your OTPs generated by Creditbank Mobile App at any point by simply logging in to your account -> go to My Profile -> click on Edit OTP Settings and updating it accordingly.

When does each OTP expire?
An OTP generated by the mobile app will expire every 30 seconds and a new one will be created. An OTP sent by SMS will expire in 2 minutes.

Do I need to be online to generate an OTP?
OTPs don’t require you to be connected to the internet to be generated.

Can I change the phone number that I receive my OTPs on?
In order to change the phone number associated with your account, you need to contact your branch. Our representatives will walk you through the standard procedure (unsubscribe your number from OTP), after which you will have to log in to your account, and follow the OTP setup steps.

Can I have my OTPs sent to more than one phone number?
For security reasons, OTPs are only sent to the phone number associated to your bank account.

Can I have an OTP Generator on more than one device?
For security reasons, an OTP Generator can only be set up on one device. If you wish to have your Creditbank Mobile application on both your smartphone and tablet, you will need to edit your OTP settings so that you receive OTPs by SMS and not through the Mobile App.

How long does it take for online transfers to be executed?
Online transfers are executed instantly and account balances are updated automatically, except for credit card accounts.

Can I extend my online banking session so that it doesn’t expire too soon?
You may control the duration of your online session by clicking on My Profile -> Change Session Time-Out and update accordingly.

What happens after I submit a request to add a beneficiary?
After submitting your request to add a beneficiary, the request will be sent to the bank for approval. Once approved, the Beneficiary Status will be changed to Active and you will be able to transact online.

Are Beneficiaries notified of the transfers?
An SMS notification is sent to the beneficiary following every successful transfer. In case of disapproval, the beneficiary can object to the bank within 15 days from the transfer date.

Creditbank Mobile Application is a free service that allows you to conduct transactions from your own mobile 24/7 whilst on the move.

How can I enroll in the Creditbank Mobile Application?
If you are a new subscriber, pass by your branch and enroll in Creditbank Online Banking. You will be provided with a username, a password, and a transfer password applicable for both Creditbank Online Banking and Mobile App.
If you are already subscribed to Creditbank Online Banking service, simply access the Creditbank Mobile App on your smartphone and log in using your username and password.

How can I start banking on my phone?
You can get started by simply downloading the Creditbank Mobile Application from Google Play Store on your Android device or the App Store on your IOS device and logging in with your Username, Password, Customer ID, and OTP. You will be asked to set up your One-Time Password.

Is it better to receive my OTPs by SMS or through the Creditbank Mobile Application?
If you choose to have your OTPs sent by SMS, you will receive a new OTP by text message every time you log in. You will then have to enter the OTP manually for every sign in.
If you choose to have your OTPs generated by the Mobile App, OTPs are automatically generated and instantly validated.

What accounts will I be able to access through Creditbank Mobile Application?
With Creditbank Mobile App, you can access all your accounts available on Creditbank Online Banking including Saving, Current, Term, Loans, checks and Credit Cards.

What can I do if my card gets stolen?
Immediately notify our Card Network Provider at 961-01-742555 and advise your branch afterwards.

What can I do if my card gets swallowed by an ATM?
If your card gets swallowed by a local ATM during working hours and the ATM is located within the premises of a Creditbank branch, simply walk in the branch and claim your card.
If your card gets swallowed by an overseas ATM, an outdoor ATM, or outside of working hours, you can call our Card Network Provider at 961-01-742555 who will advise you on the next steps.

How can I increase the limit of my card?
You can visit any of Creditbank’s branches and submit your request or you can apply online on www.creditbank.com.

What can I do if I forget or lose my card’s pin code?
You can request a new pin code from your branch.

What can I do in case the amount was withdrawn twice?
If the amount is withdrawn twice from an ATM, you have to visit your branch and fill in a claim form.
For POS transactions, you can ask the merchant to reverse the transaction; otherwise, you can pass by your branch and fill in the claim form.

What can I do if I receive an SMS stating an unidentified transaction?
You should immediately contact our Card Network Provider at +961-01-742555 to block the card. If you are traveling, contact any local line for Mastercard or Visa.

How can I track my card transactions?
There are four ways to track your card transactions:
